MetroHealth System hires former Ohio Medicaid director for key post

The MetroHealth System has hired John Corlett as its new vice president of government relations and community affairs.

Mr. Corlett previously was the state's Medicaid director, under which he supervised a staff of 380. He also previously was a senior fellow and director of public policy for The Center for Community Solutions in Cleveland, where he researched and analyzed public policy on taxes and finances, health care, education and welfare reform.

In both positions, Mr. Corlett worked closely with state and federal government officials.
