Jergens, Haas team up to help kids learn

Jack Schron has a built a state-of-the art CNC machining cell at Jergens Inc.'s main plant on Cleveland's Waterloo Road. But he doesn't intend to use it to make the machine tool fixtures or other products that Jergens is known for. Instead, he said, the cell is open for use by area schools, material science engineers, tooling companies and just about anyone else with a product to test or a student to teach in the ways of modern manufacturing.
